How A Water Filter Works

Below is an animation demonstrating how our Mermaid water filters operate. These diagrams most closely relates to our most common filters, which are Neutralizers, Softeners, Carbon Filters, and some Iron Filters.

 


Step 4: Once through the distributor, filtered water is forced up through the RISER, and finally back through the filter valve. The valve then directs filtered water into the plumbing system, to be used either in another filter or at any fixture in the building.
